• would be nice to add an additional banner or heading to the page that they were referring to
• would work very well for tracking the number of visitors that come to the page and where from

so in  a thought along this same parallell i wondered if the industry as a whole could benefit from an industry specific shortner for print to web linking.

two questions immediately arose:

1. is there a white label shortening service that  a company can put into use to set up their own blend under their current domain
2. is there a need for industry specific shorteners?

looking into both

Updated: the domain .mg requires the registrant to be a resident of Madagascar. this is what i was considering for the magazine specific url shortener.
